One thing that separates humans from most animals on Earth is our ability to communicate in an infinite ammount of ways. Other animals can only communicate vocally; whereas, humans cansend messages without even opening their mouths. We can convey these "secret messages" in many interesting ways, from the car you drive, to the shirt you're wearing.
For example: If you see someone riding on his/her skateboard down the street, the obvious message is: "I'm riding a skateboard."
However the secret messages being sent could be: "I like to live an EXTREME lifestyle"
or, "I don't like walking"
or, "Get out of my way!"
All of these messages are left to personal interpretation.

I pretty much agree with your statement regarding the skateboarding. They could just not like walking. However about the animal and human differances, I beleive that animals coudl as well communicate nonverbally with secret messenges. If one lion sees another lion eating a huge meal and the other lion has no food, the lion with food could be viewed superior because he caught his food.
